While you are away your pet(s) will relax and be loved in our CLEAN, SAFE and COMFORTABLE Pet Lodge. Your pet(s) will be pampered in our Hound Hotel with comfortable accommodations dogs of ALL sizes and breeds. Pappy's is all indoor and climate controlled for pet comfort and safety. We do offer limited outdoor play/potty areas at some locations, see below. Pappy's offers boarding ranging from Standard (3’x3’) to Penthouse boardng areas (12’x12’) which include
TV, sofa, etc.
Amenities:
- 3 Long Walks/potty breaks daily (AM, After Lunch, After Dinner)
- 3 - 10 minute 1 on 1 LOVE sessions daily with a Pappy's Pet Lover
- Comfortable Pet Cots
- Treat time twice per day (if approved by owner)
- Bring your own food or use ours (Hunter's Edge Enhanced dog food)
- Pappy's provides bowls & refreshes water throughout day/evening
- Boarding Area Sterilized and Cleaned TWICE Daily
**We suggest: for pets on special diets, seperation anxiety, shy/timid or with sensitive stomachs, owners bring their own food to avoid digestion problems and upset stomachs**
**We do provide bedding and bowls and ask that you please refrain from bringing personal bedding or bowls**
**All boarding areas in main Hound Hotel are 8 feet tall**

Requirements:
- Age: Puppies must be at least 16 weeks of age (4 months) and must have all sets of vaccinations, including DHPPC, Bordetella and Rabies
- Entrance Examination: All pets will be examined upon entering the lodge. If fleas and or ticks are identified the pet will receive an automatic flea/tick bath and or dip at the owner’s expense. Any medical or other problems will be addressed at this time with the owner.
- Medications: We do allow pets on medications except for the following: Insulin & Phenobarbital. The illness’ related to these medications require a veterinarian’s care should any complications arise.
Vaccination Requirements:
Veterinarians recommend vaccinations be given a minimum
7+ days prior to check in.
Pappy's
recommends this also, however, understands this may not always
be convenient.
Pappy's vaccination policy is:
All pets entering any Pappy's facility will have vaccinations administered a MINIMUM of 3 days prior to check in, including the BORDETELLA which is required every 6 months.
***Reservations will not be honored for vaccinations administered
LESS THAN 72 hours/3 days prior to check in.***
- Rabies: Yearly or every 3 years
- DHPPC: (Distemper/Parvo) Once per year
- Bordetella: (Kennel Cough) Once every 6 months and a MINIMUM of 72 hours before entering the boarding facility. The sooner this is done the better to protect your pet in a lodging environment.

For your pet’s safety and the safety of others, failure to provide written proof of the required vaccinations will result in denial or cancellation of boarding / daycare / grooming / obedience reservations.
If fleas/ticks are detected at check in, refusal by a pet owner to have their dog receive a flea bath and or dip will also result in denial or cancellation of reservations.
